This is my first blog.

I don't know what to put in the third line of my first blog and I'm starting to get bored of the pattern.

So yeah....=P So my name is Katie for those of you who don't know me. At the time of writing this, I am 17 years old. I live in northern New Jersey and am a senior in high school. So about me and my interests. I am currently embarking on the journey that is apply for colleges. Oh the joys of essays and transcripts. -_- For those of you who are interested in what I want to do with my life, I want to be a marine biologist. I don't know exactly what I want to do with that field of study, but anything sounds good. I am in my school's marching band and am one of the three drum majors. I love to laugh. Not the over-the-top obnoxious how-many-people-can-i-get-to-turn-their-heads laugh either; just the feeling of laughing makes me so....happy =D

Enough about who I am. Hopefully you will figure out a bit more of my personality throughout my blogging.

So with that little bit of info, I will start on what is my blog:

Today was my town's 175 anniversary. We are...100 and 75 years old. Duh. And to celebrate the occasion, some SUPER SMART person decided to organize an event that involved a few marching bands, dance studios and a bunch of fake bears riding around on top of fire trucks to parade across the town. It was a bit too....Gilmore Girls to me. I felt like Luke in my coffee shop, not wanting to get involved. But unfortunately, as one of the drum majors in the marching band, I was obliged to go and take part of this oh-so-happy event. And I didn't even get any coffee =(

But backing up a bit, last night I slept for a record 13 hours. It was at ridiculous times too. I fell asleep at 7:30 pm and woke up at 8:30 am. Crazy. But sleeping felt SOOOOO nice. I've been running on NOT enough sleep these past few weeks and havn't had the time to sleep in. So this one weekend night was amazing. It also shows what a life I have if I can manage to fall asleep at 7:30 on a saturday night. hmm..... I have friends I swear! =D

Ok...going forward again, I watched the first episode of Glee today and O.M.G I loved it! I've had Don't Stop Believing stuck in my head all day. I think I might like that version better than the actual song. Kinda sad, but its true. It kinda helps a bit that the guy in the show is amazingly gorgeous. Sorry. I had to just put that out there. But I really liked the show. More review as the series progresses. It's a shame though because it's on at 9 on Wednesdays and I have band practice 6-9 on wednesdays. And we never end at 9. It's always 9:15 or something. Which means I don't get home til around 9:25. So I'm just going to either record it or watch the episodes on Hulu. I love that site by the way. I get to watch Lost there. (I keep trying to catch up to the current season, but I only ever manage to watch about 2 or 3 episodes at a time...I'm in season 2 right now.... and I've been trying for about 8 months now) The only thing I don't like about Hulu is that it doesn't have Dr. Who on there. My friend sent me a site for it, but I keep forgetting it. If it was on hulu, I wouldn't have to search every time.

But now its after 10 on a Sunday night and I have school tomorrow. Possible blog on highlights and low points of my day? I don't know...we'll see how we feel when the time comes. Who knows...maybe tomorrow will be the most boring day of my life. O_O But anyway, I still have to read two chapters of The Stranger by someone-who-I'm-too-lazy-to-check-their-name. I just got past the part when the main guy shoots the Arab guy. I don't know...I'm hardly paying attention to this one. It's a school assigned book, so I don't really have a choice not to read it except to fail... and I kinda don't want to do that. So night all! And I'm wondering if anyone actually called that number I posted...because that's the Rejection Hotline...not my actual number........=P Oh well, I still love all you guys...maybe eventually I'll get a skype...live shows possibly?
