Today was...interesting. We started playing concert music in band, so I finally got to play my flute! Down side was that it was the first time I had picked up my flute in AGES. And the song we played was not easy....in the least bit. We kinda died a bit after playing that song. But the piece sounds good and we supposedly have 6 months to learn it. The thing is, I feel like I and the rest of the band will be able to pull it off. =D
In math class, we took a test on stuff we learned in previous years, and there was a whole section on stuff I hadn't learned. So I taught myself how to do it while actually doing the test. I probably got it all wrong, but it would have been worse to not try. Who knows...maybe I actually am brilliant and can figure out stuff automatically. =P
As probably none of you know, I have two sciences this year. I'm taking physics and AP Biology. During physics, we did this lab where you roll a ball down the slope and clock the time. And someone at the adjacent table to mine dropped the marble down the sink. The convo went a little like this:
*Rebecca puts the marble on wrong and it falls off the slope, into the sink and down the drain*
-everyone laughs-
me: Um..Mr. Rose?
Mr Rose looks up and comes over: What happened?
Adam (a kid in the other group): A marble fell down the drain.
-the whole group is giggling-
Mr Rose cracks a smile: who did it?
everyone points at Rebecca
Mr Rose: I love how everyone points to you. Not even to your group. Just you. Now you owe me a marble. Not a pack. Just one.
soo...I'm pretty sure that wasn't nearly as funny as it actually was, but I decided to keep that there just because it took too damn long to type. haha
In AP Bio, 8th period, we got back our super hard test from the other day that I thought I failed. And to no one's surprise, I got a 56 on it. Well, at least I got better than a 50. But we also took a safety quiz and I got a 100 on that, so that's half of a test grade. And I got my grade for my summer lab back and I got a 98. So my grade should at least be a C....I'm not exactly sure how the half test grade fits in. So I'm not failing the class like I thought I was. Awesome. One failing test isn't that bad....as long as it's ONLY one failing test.
After school I got on the bus and these stupid, stupid freshmen boys think they're really cool and start badmouthing my little sister. So I stood up and started bitching them out. Now, if any of you know me, I'm not a hardass. I'm not the one to stand up and yell at someone. I was, once upon a time, but I learned better of that, and for the past how long, I haven't really been known to be outspoken. But I let these kids have it. And luckily, this time, I have absolutely no regrets with anything I said. I stayed inside the limits of what is reasonable to say to someone who was picking on my little sister.
When I got home, I immediately went online and started talking to my friend, Ludo. I made fun of him the first time I talked to him because he lives in England and his name is Ludo and I just thought of Ludo Bagman from Harry Potter. =D =D Nahh but his real name is Alexander or something. I dont know. But he's really cool and funny and I love talking to that guy. Seriously. I've only known him for a few weeks yet, and already I feel like he's a best friend. Crazy how that works, huh?
But now dinner's ready and although I'm not very hungry, I know I will be hungry in a hour. And by that time, the food will be nasty and cold. So here I go.
DFTBA
